trev part 2

by Lisa-Dawn Sparling

I rejoiced when you were born,

I skipped grade one so that I could stare at your face,

(and got caught by the way)

I love you like your brother but deeper,

Almost like you are my own child.

You are so handsome and so honest and real.

You were sent to us a gift, some angelic force.

I realize you are not perfect,

I realize you are way too modest to think your anything.

But I think that you are amazing,

You have been through so much but always remained composed.

I have always wanted to save you from everything,

Don’t ever doubt yourself,

Never let your unselfishness get in the way of looking out for yourself.

I love you my boy.
