Have You Ever?

by J. P. Davies

If you ever,
have you ever?

Loved someone
like it's now or never.

Felt a second could last forever?

Well it has been, can be done.

If sometimes
and sometimes can.

Love for a moment,
let me be your man.

Watch the time count every sand.

This could be, can be the very last one.

Well done. I prefer this type of rhyme to the classic "poem-y" style with coupletes or ABCB or things like that. It's pulled together but not cliche. I very unique sort of love poem.
