rendezvous, collisions

by Indigo Tempesta

[love]
romance plucks a cellular switch and
this is love: circuits threshing
through ebony blood and organs that quiver
to be eaten by the man who will
slaughter your immunity to moons--as he opens you
you wince

[baptism]
traitorous thought!--you are ambushed
(as though by plague or comet
or as the Poles) with the bare force of sexual
baptism. the conquerer ingests the ebony
blood: and you are not so fallow as
you thought.

[explanations]
needy stranger. demented tourist. solicitor
in from a blizzard, or wanting work. one victory
in a series of rendezvous, collisions.
and you slink from the scuffle. you crawl,
trembling, from the fleeting echoes of
bare force.

[silence]
the doctor dangles it from a thread like a coronation:
his illegitimate joke. a breaking thread, a fleeting echo. now unbesieged,
you cannot celebrate what has seemed to die; unchained
from your bridal snare, you bristle. you, a martyr, dying
from the suffocation of sanctuary; fighting the
silence.

[change]
out of the shower, your body's reflection ignites a state change,
breaking threads of gravity,
turning a kinetic moment
to a potential miracle.
breathing is a miracle.
so, breathe.

WOW! I won't pretend to fully comprehend all the message content with one read - however it is evident immediately that this very well written. The flow and form is amazing

"in a series of rendezvous, collisions. and you slink from the scuffle. you crawl, trembling, from the fleeting echoes of bare force."

yeah... lol. Great Work!
