L.R.C.R. (acrostic)

by Amanda L Marron

Longing for you, I can tell you pine for it too
Usurping my feelings into yourself
I still do not deem myself worthy
Seeing is believing, or so they say

Rendering me helpless
At the resonance of your voice
Fond memories keep me going
Always on my mind
Even when I least expect it, there you are
Leaving me with elation

Could you be a little more naïve?
Actions speak louder than words, or can’t you tell?
Stare into my eyes and you’ll see that I’m everything I am because of you
Touch me deep
I’ve craved for this
Lightly brush your hands over mine
Lean into me
Only make sure to keep us afloat

Reach into my heart and see
Outside the box
Still I’m confused
Although your tones change
Readily
I am aware
Occurrences need to happen now

One of your better pieces, definitely. *claps.*

Ah a lovely plea for love is this! Though urgent and aware of that ticking of the clock as well. I especially like the line, "Reach into my heart and see Outside the box" - there is s subtle and powerful paradox here that captivated me both visually and intellectually. This piece is a good one Amanda and I too join Rachelle in her enthusiastic *claps* :-)

Yes, this has definitely emanated from a longing, seeking 'occurances', wishing development, positive and yes beautiful.
