Scattered

by Alison McKenzie

I am
Bits of being,
Segmented by time;
Decisions formed;
Scattered ashes of shadows and
Movement of life,
Span dancing through
Corridors of eternity.
Gather up my fragments,
Put me together.
I want to see what I look like
From another angle;
I want to make sense.

Interesting how perceptions are formed of ourselves and others and then can be shattered and reconfigured. Well done with exploring this here.

This is a really solid poem. Most people I think have had similar thoughts and you say it so well.
