I did't know dousy
Was a word one could use
"...a bit of a dousy"
Just seems quite confused
Might be it is meant
To be something that's hard
Like climbing a mountain
Or being Picard
Who figured the size
Of something quite large
(He was quite French)
Then there are La Farge
Who write and who paint
Now we are quite off courses
In finding the meaning
In different colored horses
Donsy it means, unlucky
Restive or saucy
So could dousy mean
Loud or quite flossy?
Dozy's a word
That has sleepy attached
So could our word dousy
Mean sleepiness hatched?
It is quite a puzzle
This word measured small
But an unknown meaning
Makes this word to enthrall
So what is it's meaning?
Can it have one so true?
It's a bit of a dousy
I don't know, do you?
