In an Over-Sanitized World, I Prefer to be Dirty by Amanda J CobbI have not showered today.
I did not want to watch our shared love
flow in speeding, sweaty rivulets
down a dirty drain.
I wanted to wear you,
me,
us
as light as oil on my skin,
a glisten in my hair,
and a half-turned-up smile on my lips,
the part of me that you found last night
gently purring all the while. 09/03/2004 Posted on 09/03/2004 Copyright © 2025 Amanda J Cobb

Posted by Max Bouillet on 09/05/04 at 08:07 PM This is so natural and beautiful. An almost spiritual manner of dealing with the sensual self. Great read that should be required reading for all lovers. |
