dry by Laura DoomLooking back
into my future
I recognise a stranger
and turn away
my flesh and blood
but unrelated.
Lips sealed
I fear no tears
when sick minds
rip through innocence
splitting us
to black and blue.
Intelligence is oh so cool
it freezes space
I might have reserved
for the love of my life
whose spirit lives on
in tasteless clichéd form.
Sister blue, I'm missing you
too much I hear, the heart I lack
will murmur when I'm through
there is no going back. 08/27/2004 Posted on 08/26/2004 Copyright © 2024 Laura Doom

Posted by Max Bouillet on 09/05/04 at 08:14 PM The relationships we have through blood baffle me. Evolutionarily where does one stop and the other begin? You manipulate time magnificantly in this piece. Thank you for sharing. |
Posted by Richard Vince on 09/23/04 at 06:41 PM please leave it as it is. i think that's all there needs to be under that title because you've encapsulated it all just right. |
