love is an electrocution. by Wendy Gealfaster, faster. my pulse quakes
veins like wire- kissing, nestling that of which
is all strung throughout me. i feel the rush rush rushing
of each shocking touch of you.
i am ignited -- lying in the undermost part of your shadow
and flickering- fire like a burnt out spark. i crave you.
my sadness could shade the stars, still only then they would be there
reminding me of every incandescent kiss i still fight to hush out like dirty stubborn light.
the pulse of me still tinges with every memory & the chilling ways
you'd whisper across my neck in the darkness colliding with the
luminous brushing of your lips against mine ,
sickening every ounce of moonlight. 08/25/2004 Posted on 08/26/2004 Copyright © 2025 Wendy Geal
