Meant (right column):

for anne engelen:  I bow down before the one I serve

Now, now Anne.                                              Know now Anne
There's no reason                                            there’s a reason
for a bitter attitude.                                        for my bitter attitude.

Even though                                                   Although
you were in high school                                    I only just started
when John The Baptist                                     taking steps
was in the middle of selling                                in life’s baby shoes
himself from the throat up.                                your boots just kept on walking.

That doesn't make you,                                    The years of experience
how can I put this kindly,                                  have been graceful
super-duper-freaking old.                                  to you.

It just happens to mean                                    There’s so much
you've enjoyed the world                                   I have missed out on
from it's earliest hour.                                       so much I can learn from you.

Dinosaurs for example.                                      I envy you.

Nothing wrong with that.                                   Knowing you is wonderful.
You're still a real sweet heart.                            You’re a real sweetheart.

Even though                                                    I get my kicks out of a variety of things
they still haven't                                              and witches
pulled that house off your sister.                         just make my heart sing.

I love ya Anne.                                                You’re a hell of a witch, Anne.

Even though                                                    I pray, oh God, I pray
you haven't got a prayer                                   that i don’t have to give in
when it comes to defeating me.                          to my defeat.

Trust me,                                                       And hope,
no one will think                                               you will leave me
any less of you                                                my dignity
if you decided to give up now.                            So i can grow up to be like you

They say there are two sides to every story, but I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see such a dichotomous circumstance come to fruition through poetry. Your uninhibited interpolation is exquisite, Anne. High marks all around! Pe4ce...

Gabe, I love you. But this is the way it DEFINITELY is done. Especially by a witch. Dun you know better than to mess with a witch? :)
