Fellowship (of the Moose)

by Leonard M Hawkes

Celebrating,
We circled the Fire
'Neath ancient Spruces
Beside the Lake.

Half-naked, in Leather,
Adorned with Feathers,
We Sang, sharing Beads
In the Darkness.

Then, Staves in Hand,
We groped back
Through moist Grass,
As Light lingered.
