Lying here...wrapped in thoughts of you
I float into a feather sleep...
Clouds curling up around me
To cushion my dreams...
I dream of a warm embrace...
A soft kiss, a gentle caress
From you, my only one
Of how I will take your hand
And lead you to paradise

To see you smile would be my heaven...
Where I wouldn't have to dream
To see you, to feel you
A heaven where I can fall asleep every night
With your arms wrapped around me
And our love, like a blanket
To keep out the cold

I long to dive into your eyes...
To swim through your soul...
And to bathe with you in our love
The love we will always share

Your voice is like a gentle wave...
Warm, soft, comforting...
Sparkling in the midday Sun
It draws me closer to you...
Beckoning me to follow
And, like a lullaby
Sends me, nightly, to my dreams

A butterfly lands
Softly on your finger
Waving its wings to you
As you smile and laugh...
That laugh that melts my heart
And makes me wish so hard...
I wish I was where you are...
And that all I had to do to touch you
Would be to reach out my hand...

But all my hand can find
Is more cold air...
And the warmth of your arms
Is only a dream...
But not forever
