Air In Place

by J. P. Davies

If you'd like,
find me resting
comfortably in your arms.

(I still dream)

Morning finds one,
cold, reaching hand.
Finding air in place of warmth.

I'll sleep forever,
with and without you.

It's really beautiful... in an extremely haunting way. "I'll sleep forever,/with and without you." is the line in particular that makes me think of that.
