topic: a man really should...

by Rachelle Howe

i'm getting too old for this.

starting your day with prozac
isn't as glam as it used to be.
i wonder if i could spruce
things up a bit, maybe
add a different tie
to my otherwise boring demeanor.

she had legs that went on for years.
they were the word of the day,
and oh, how i spread them.
warmth, it was invading, as i
drenched her in pornography and
pet names.

she squealed in delight
as i delved, so deep, ever in, and
clamped when i pulled out, just to tease.
i didn't understand her arch
until it was finished,
until i felt her scream
from the inside out.

after, she left
her number on the night stand,
next to a CD i couldn't possibly own.
it insured that i call her again,
the mastermind of diligence and inaptitude.

i would, maybe.

but a man really should
go to bed the same day he wakes,
though for me, slumber is relative.

and hopefully, some time soon,
when i open my eyes, all i'll see
is the silver lining (and a whole lot
of boobs.)

Author's Note: ROFLMAO. okay, this is not meant to be anything but what it is. i'm certainly not going for POTD, or best writing of the year. this is simply for Paul and Gabe, whom i adore muchly. and if you hadn't noticed, i wrote it from a guy's perspective.

Boobs, CD's, pornography, and pet names. Everything a man needs. Great read.

Does going to bed necessarily mean going to sleep? I hope it hasn't changed that much!
