Thoughts are Energy Capsules by Ashok Sharda
thoughts are energy capsules
slow and crude,
capable of creating selves
selves are competent
in causing a cause
resourceful enough to act as a force
qualified for an accident
in a situation conducive
if reconciled with an opposite pole,
the wise call it a happening
its my doing, shall claim a fool
slow and crude, but
energetic enough
to evolve on its own into a momentum
which drives you to drive a car or a
cart the choice is yours
(But alas!
we are disposed to think with this charge
instead of choosing to drive a car
or a cart)
slow and crude but abrupt,
intense enough to shuffle into an impulse
with the fusion of an impression
active and keen to bring you beauty
(But alas!
we are inclined to infiltrate it with thoughts
emerging from a center negatively charged
which drives us crazy)
slow and crude, but qualified
to auto-transform into an impetus
which keeps our eyes blinking
heart pumping
lungs breathing
but this can also bring you knowledge
if infused by INTENT
the choice is yours
slow and crude, but catalytic
in metamorphosing into an ecstasy
with linking of our centers
merging time into space
filling your veins with euphoria
if one can just be ONE and
hold this oneness for a while
the world shall STOP and
let you know what is
in thoughtlessness

Author's Note: Theres one more known as energy S for the purpose of serving the nature. Become one with it objectively in nonbeing so as to not let other energies inter mingle
and experience without, within while experiencing within, without.
(But alas! This refined energy is constantly being used
by centers unfit.) I have written a commentary on this poem in the form of an article entitled: The Energy Centers of Man-Machine

Posted by Traci Mabats on 08/17/04 at 04:49 PM I like this, positive and negative charged thoughts. So you're saying we shouldn't drive when we are negatively charged, right? Lol. |
Posted by Michelle Angelini on 08/17/04 at 10:46 PM Outstanding! Some very deep thoughts here. I had to read it a couple times to get its full impact. The last stanza is my favorite. I love your poetry because it makes me think and delve into the meaning. Great read, Ashok! |
Posted by Max Bouillet on 08/21/04 at 02:11 AM It starts with a thought. It is the power that starts it all. It can be beneficial or harmful. It is how it is used. Makes me think. |
Posted by JD Clay on 08/29/04 at 02:12 PM Ah! The complexities of the human mind and how we become a programable self, poluted by the influx of minutia. This raises the age old question; is our mind controling us, or are we in control of our minds. Nicely written indeed.
