A lot of people do things bad,
When it makes a lot of people sad.

We try to prove people wrong,
We try to act strong.

When will we know if we are right?
When will we have to worry about being in a fight?

When will we be safe everyday?
Who will show us the way?

When we hear about bad things today,
We wonder when the world will quit being this way.

Here in the world some things are bad,
Even though other things are so rad.

We hear about the gangs in the street,
We hear these people are always being beat.

People lose their jobs everyday,
They say why me, why does it have to be this way?

There are two kinds of people dumb and smart,
I always wonder who has the bigger heart?
