I know that I must move on
I know that life is unfair.
I know I cannot change the past

I know this will never change no matter how much I pray at night.
I wish that I could go back in time
I wish I could make you be here with me,
I wish that I could change you mind
I wish I could understand why you needed to be free.
I wish you would reconsider,
I wish you would stop being so bitter.
I hope one day you will be able to see
I hope one day you will be able to feel the pain you caused me.
I hope one day you will learn to be sincere
I hope one day you will learn how to finally care.
I see now that I must move on
I see now that I have to learn how to be strong.
I know that I will keep wondering
I wish that one day you will be able to see
I hope one day while you are pondering
I see that you would want to finally come back to me.
