Dream Until Your Dreams Come True

by Karl Waldbauer

Dream Until Your Dreams Come True

Your lips brushed against mine,
the taste lingers still,
now I dream of you,
alone in my bed.

Sleep’s silky fingers caress me this night,
though I’m restless and long for your touch.
In a dream-haze
your approach sets me afire;
I reach for you,
touching only myself.
My response is immediate
when I feel your embrace,
smell your scent, tasting your neck.
A midnight vertigo sweeps me away,
I explode…
awake with a start.

In the dark you are gone
as I collapse on my pillow
to dream of you,
alone in my bed.

i love the contrast between the first and last stanza! mmmmm, as always, a sweet yet carnal pleasure, karl.

Erotic and steamy little verse that captures and captivates the reader into a dream world of past lovers and wet dreams.
