Corporate Cloning

by Jersey D Gibson

Your cubical is your life,
as it is the life of the man next to you.
There's another cubical, and another,
corporate prison cells you'll never escape.

The whole level is run by a man in a room,
he thinks he's greater; he has a window.
Business diplomas read like parole hearings,
but of course, all of them rejected.

At the top of the white-collar food chain,
CEO should read more like 'prison warden'.
In control of all the little worker ants,
dredge and sludge tedium lives forever.

Wow! I really like this - makes me so glad I'm not part of that corporate grind. Good work, Jersey!
