Witch on Acid by Sam Roberts
The girl sat aimlessly, watching breaths of smoke shaped animals
running around each other, and in the stale air, chasing for tails
Her life has become strangely confused by fixed ideas
A pastime where her preconceptions became truth,
A dangerous web of glorious facts, now coiled around her window and trying to escape
Left for a while to soak up
shes got it, shes figured it out
Its taken a long time but its real and beautiful
She smiles, she giggles, she sometimes cackles at her brilliant mind
Like some witch on acid, she uses her eyes to rip at the wallpaper
Climbing down and melting the floor, seeing black holes
And she wants to jump down..
To live no more
Her mind began to overflow, it exploded eventually
So, she lit up a cigarette
And watched for hours, playing with a cat and stoking his tail
