In the clouds now,
looking out the window-
looks like the beginning of a movie,
waiting for the little boy
with the fishing pole.
And the ride's a little bumpy.
It feels like the hill in the road
near downtown Sharpsburg
we used to take to Jacob's house.
the diction gets really interesting in the last three lines. i like having to re-read sometimes, and this happens to be one of those times, bc it was worth it. first five lines not to shabby themselves. just really good.
