Laughter of Chimes

by Alison McKenzie

Hope unfurls
In fallow wastelands.
Irrevocable memories -
Manifest out of
Rock solid loss -
Resurected.
Love soars,
Law of gravity repealed,
Sentence of death suspended.
I walk the altered course
Of destinyÂ’s demolition,
Serenity manifest in hearts
Once churned in chaotic eddy.
DO NOT DISTURB!
Hedge of shelter
From yesteryearsÂ’ storm,
Now and forever
Embraced in Passover.
We dance today at the
Feast of the new wedding.
Warranted sorrow
Obliterated in
Laughter of chimes!

After reading your journal, I think I get this now. I hope the spiritual rebirth you appear to have experienced leads you to the peace of mind you yearn. I especially identify with the following passage: "I walk the altered course Of destiny’s demolition, Serenity manifest in hearts Once churned in chaotic eddy."

I am so thrilled to see you are forever family! Isn't that just kewl? We have forever to learn (and sometimes learn to love, lol) each other? I look forward to reading more in your library!
