i like boys who sing sinatra by Lindsay Sandersi wish for blue skies
but it's a foggy day &
your black hat casts a
shadow on your face
{though i can still see the
stardust in your eyes as you
move across the dance floor like
gene kelly has nothing on you.)
its not the polkadots & moonbeams
or the way you look tonight in
your pinstripe suit that gets
you under my skin as the big band
beats on your back. i may be a fool
& you are rushing in but i know my
heart is above my head
when your voice sweeps me
off my feet as you whispersing
lets fall in love.
07/26/2004 Author's Note: i'm just a silly girl who was born in the wrong era. oh & if you can correctly guess how many sinatra song references there are in here, you are my hero.
