and what makes me the one to stop her?

by Lauren Pearl

she dribbles blasphemy into the mouthpiece
weighted by the sunlight and stardust
she adds for special effect
lips touching, hands touching, hair touching
parts of your spine i only do in daydreams
she just can't keep her fingers under control tonight
and rumor has it, you've never had much
of a backbone to begin with.

wow. i love those quick one/two minute scrawls that leave you bleeding on the page with souls howling and the moon layered behind. *tilts her head.* i love this. absolutely love it. you, dear, are a hidden treasure i didn't (until now) know existed.

That last line just blew me away. Amazing read, and I am jealous that it took you only two minutes to write something as amazing as this!
