BROKEN fairy- tale by Wendy Gealhappy endings
have to be written in on jagged paper with black- stained ink
dreamnt up by people on acid trips or thick imaginations
they aren't real;
they have to be coated thick in sugar- lies,
and read to children
by knavish mothers, exact and parallel
with their quirk and their lore
telling them hush and open wide
to swallow their little flashing delusive shots of
flawless kind and spiraling pefection
children age like flies,
dreaming and aching for their once-apon- a - times. 07/09/2004 Author's Note: In dedication to everyones broken fairy-tale.
