Xanax, Prozac: fix my world with a pill...

by Melinda Sordino

you tell me that the drugs will fill
the holes inside my brain.
well to hell with that (i like the holes),
for where else could i train?
olympic athletes stand no chance
when they are racing me;
for it is running from myself
that has thus far kept me free.

yep, I can relate. My clinical depression is my best friend- don't know whether I would write without it. You expressed exactly what I feel. Great Job!
