Sometimes When You Love Someone You Have To Let Them Go

I've found the one whom I want to make me his soul bride
Fate gave him to me once before but I didn't understand
That it was he, who should always be, the one to hold my hand
Our intertwining fingers fit so perfectly together
Our intertwining hearts should have stayed locked forever
And though I long to pull him close and make him mine once more
I know I mustn't pull him from his path; he must choose his own door
And even if I'm not the one who gets to keep his kiss
I hope whichever route he walks will lead him straight to bliss
My love for him is purer than virgin flakes of snow
But sometimes when you love someone, you have to let them go 07/07/2004 Author's Note: If you love someone you should let them go. If they come back, then they're yours to keep. and if they don't they were never really yours in the first place.
