every picture of us
is like a portion of a timeline
where there is a birthdate
to mark when it all began
and a deathdate
to mark the end of all things beautiful

but this timeline has taught me one thing:
through every
awkward silence,
screaming fight,
beautiful evening,
broken promise,
lonely night,
encouraging word,
misleading smile,
tight embrace...
love is
everything that makes you miserable
and everything that keeps you going
