into your azure by Wendy Gealwill kissing you erase him?
the beast who burnt my nerves to a crisp
and sent his shadow lingering like summer air
he taunts me, synching with my pulse,
rough hands making skin seep red,
these vicious memories paralyze my soul, they bring me to a halt,
spinning in a warm rain of sadness- never- ending
but your eyes, sparkling with bluest azure, they have captured me
touching you wipes the dirt from my sullen, hungry skin
ravenous for a taste of the warmth your lips bring me
as it carries me away into your refuge- arms 06/20/2004 Author's Note: ...breaking away from old nightmares
