a pencil atop one's ear produces a picture of a person ever in the creative process.Jadi, the poet. Native indian carpenters does keep a pencil atop their ear.

Didn't the poet ever look in the mirror? I suppose that's when it was finally found ;-) Funny stuff JD, and as unpoetic as you claim it to be, one line depicting a moment of self discovery...well this is a beautiful reflection on reflection...the humor indicates to me a humble spirit...laughing it off...I like this one hahaha :-)

What a wonderful metaphor! I think the pencil was on my ear for about 20 years.... d:-)
