Posted by Rula Shin on 05/20/04 at 05:15 PM Well, this walking zombie self is the obstacle standing in the way of the Intending self...and what are the chances that this commatose 'self' is alone and friendless? KILL THEM ALL and set the ONE free! Mwahahaha!

Posted by Max Bouillet on 05/20/04 at 06:27 PM Existing implies existence. But non-existence denies existence. But one would have to have consciousness to concieve the idea of existence and non-existence. This implies existence for only those in existence could define non-existence. The very state of one implies the other. For the existant to deny existence is liberation from self? The non-existant do exist and thus could not deny themselves. So only the existant in denial can exist? Uh oh. Got a headache, again. Maybe I could deny it. That's better. The headache cannot exist in someone that is non-existant. Uh oh. I think I got a non-existant headache. Pain and percieved pain hurt the same. Whew! You got me thinking again, Ashok. Wonderful verse filled with wisdom. |
Posted by Michele Schottelkorb on 05/20/04 at 08:35 PM i see this as a killing of one's self, or, rather, PART of one's self... the part that does not exist... that is nothing but added baggage... that is harming one more than helping... brilliant thought here, dear ashok... you write with firm clarity... blessings... |
Posted by Anne Engelen on 05/20/04 at 08:49 PM I have nothing to add! great read. Am I glad Max got the headache this time, although it was a non-existing one ;) His comment was super! |

Posted by Nadia Gilbert Kent on 05/21/04 at 09:23 PM In other words, though it does bring back urking memories, I love that something can be so universal within the boundary of so little words. |
Posted by Graeme Fielden on 05/22/04 at 02:09 AM He does not exist. Neither does this poem. This comment is a fallacy. Fallacies are real, which proves he exists. It justifies his death to make this poem and its non existing comment...huh? what was that? I think that I'll just wink ;) & smile :D |
Posted by Thomas K. Hunt on 05/22/04 at 06:27 PM excellent, so thought provoking.....I had to kill him to be...welcome back to reality |
