Infidelity
by Quinlan L GibsonSlumped in that perfect pink dress, he arrives a mess of soon to be lies.
2 hours late, to a cold plate, and the last of the Chadonnays use.
He knows she cries, he never tries to say the right thing: the truth.
Shades what she sees with her eyes, as the doubt creeps by and into her heart.
Without him she feels shell crumble; though its been this way from the start.
Always the chance that the passing fancy will tempt him beyond his control.
He dropped his pants at their first glance; She played the other woman role.
Her memories know she made the mistake, of all the giving and no take,
Its got to stop she cannot fake that now she wants to run...so wheres that gun?
05/17/2004 Author's Note: Nothing even close to my real life right now. I thank God this is fiction..I'm just happy to get something out. I really don't think this one is much, but I'm hopeful this will break my block.
