Congratulations on POTD. Not just beautiful simplicity of writing - this poem hints at so much more. It could be the beginning of a novel, or maybe of a series of linked poems. And who coud refuse the offer of the last line? Would they find wonderous things, or live to regret it I wonder?

Yes, yes, it does sound like a prelude. And such an evocative one leading into the unknown! Every part is mysterious. A dramatic emblematic feel to this, alchemical, intense, and alluring. A meditative night's ongoing dream, and the silence, opening, beneath the "wing" the "veils" -- what truth of night...
