(You Remind Me) I'm Still Alive

by J. P. Davies

In finding, falling, and failing;
we were always forever reaching,
for a line of communication
or some hint of conversation.

I'm so ..t..i..r..e..d..
of trying to piece together,
a dream from when we said,
"Forever."

That I'm finding,
hidden under weather,
a beam that was a life
"Together."

In dreaming, dealing, and deceiving,
We were never quite ones for believing
in the dreams of those before,
you don't remember anymore.

I'm so ..t..i..r..e..d..
of trying to piece together,
a dream from when we said,
"Forever."

That I'm finding,
hidden under weather,
a beam that was a life
"Together."

If it's time, it's time to drift apart;
because we never finish once we start.
and the rhythm of your beating heart,
reminds me that you're still alive.

It's alright to know it's done,
somethings end before they're begun.
And her hair while shining in the sun
reminds me that I'm still alive.

You remind me that I'm still alive
You remind me that I'm still alive

This is really good. I love the rythm and the rhyme scheme, now I want to hear it in a song. Nice work.
