She waited for the sound of it.
An anticipated thud.
Never forgetting it was up there above her head
hanging by one thin stretched thread.

You see, she trusted the gravity of man.

Gravity kills, or so they say. Nicely done, simple but very effective. The first two lines had me going one way, and then the left turn with the rest of the poem. Good job. Maybe she should of used spackle to hold that shoe up *ha ha*
