AntiHero by Jersey D GibsonSend us to die across the seas,
where it's told, were we deceived?
Send us so far from our home...
Empty hearts want to believe the fight is for humanity!
Look at yourself, heroic state of existance,
patriot in your own damn mind.
Look around you, world caving in,
victim of life, you are the antihero.
Torn between right and wrong...
Nothing is black and white when dead is all over!
When does the war against war begin,
when is the slaughter start to end?
Puppets of a violent master,
discarded when injured, picked up another antihero.
What's left from the grinder... 04/15/2004 Author's Note: Just some of the bitterness of being in Basic, and most of it was from others

Posted by Lizz Scott on 04/25/04 at 04:43 PM I liked this. Especially the lines: "Puppets of a violent master, discarded when injured, picked up another antihero."
