Evolution

spent together
spent apart
how much we've grown
and changed
into individuals
and a couple
unsure first steps
somehow became flight
secrets shared
and created
trust grew
friendship flourished
and now look at us
you're the first one I want to talk to
whenever anything happens
you did break the rules
no wait,
you made me see how destructive they were
and I changed them
It was far from love at first sight
but then you never believed in that anyhow
but it was a revolution at first sight
and the world has changed so much now
the armor has been peeled away
the small things do matter
and they do mean something.
I'm no longer the girl I was
nor are you that boy
we are completely changed
and yet somehow so much more the same now.

| Posted by Ashok Sharda on 04/18/04 at 01:26 PM We are always on the evolutionary path. Intentional shocks in the form of awareness and accidental shocks owing ti adverse situations alone are capable of causing basic changes. Normally its the past and the stored data's which brings minor change. |
