The Sea

by Christel Crews

The waves crashing on the uneven shore
steadily moving with the constant tide
The waning moon gazes across the surface
directing each pull and strain

The safe place, my get-away
When the stress of my day
clouds my vision and thought

Take me there and ease my pain
that beautiful night, alone on the sand
When your voice shot through the starlit night
And I knew your love surpassed the seas

Beautiful! Waves are soothing - it's been too long since I've been to the ocean or in love.

Hi Christel, It's beautiful. I haven't see the ocean yet. I seen big lakes and been on them. They are so calming, so peaceful.
