Someday...

by Oscar Martínez

I will kiss some lips
that will not taste of sorrow
and from them I will eat musky fruit

I will see myself under turmoil,
how will I find rest
if it's not under your eyes?

someday
she will be all property of my hands
and the next
nothing will have changed in her life

I will be indifferent
the sand of teary beaches
will no longer irritate my eyes

someday
you will see yourself in your mirror
you'll cry out for other mouths
and I will demand the breeze not to stop kissing me

a women will demand me,
but maybe I will be demanding you
even then, my life like it is, will continue

someday...
nothing will vary, the sun will heat the same world,
everything wil be still and a spirit
will find an opportunity to move

Yes, 'some day'. Hoping in the hopelessness and hopes turning so beautiful in this hopelessness.Love seems so beautiful despite the gloom.
