the death of you

by Wendy Geal

i could be a murderess
slaying all the lying iloveyous
you screamed across the delicate spark in me
all sick dead plots masked up in kisses
i could burn you out
hang over your star and blow its flame to dark
there would be nothing left of you
i want to drain the poison from you and make it
the sweet wine of your evanescence
swallowing it to finish you off
i want to breathe the words back to you
in your darkest hours;
your judgement as you combust into
orange spiraling flames--
my serenity

You've expressed that anger magically. I like your imagery. Well done.
