I Don't Believe In Angels

by Cole Miller

I dont believe in angels
And its all because of you
The very thought of angels
Brings a horrifying vison
Of you on the ground
With the very wings
That brought you here
Ripped off and soaked with blood
A scene so painfully vivid
That it brings tears to my eyes
I dont believe in angels
And its all because of you
Because I thought you were an angel
But now as I see you laying half dead
Upon the ground surrounded by bloodied feathers
I know youre not an angel
because you did it to yourself

When our "Angels" die, literally, or fall into mortality and humanness, it's a loss of innocence and a feeling of disillusionment for us. And a role reversal, where we need to be their angels for a change.Well shown here.

This is the first piece I've read here that's inspired me to write on the same subject.
