...silent emnity

by J. P. Davies

Recurring mystery this time,
How I walk upon polished words,
And continue exposing drenched speech.
Your name conjures watchful desire,
Wanting to reach beyond silence.

Should I cave, muttering at you,
"It's plenty to be silent,"
Then hypocrites achieve height.
Proving self-fraudulent.

Striving desperately to adhere,
To hastily sworn objections,
Forfeiting this game.

Lacking tenuous spirit,
I'm finding it impossible,

To speak to you.

Great stuff. Vivid... and I love the form, it's very fitting. ~Nita
