Surgery

by Jane E Pearce

After the bruise,

grow with a song

summer blossoms

out of dark slices

while slender tendrils

lacy and full,

run like wild

immense winds

through liquid glass.

Author's Note: Had surgery recently and used magnetic poetry for this.

This fine piece has a very positive feel to it and reads like an affirmation, Jane. Interesting how the mind works to assist in our healing like a supporting cast when given the chance. Pe4ce...
