Lack of comparison
becomes lack of definition,
uncertain existence -
ethereal, ephemeral fiction.

Those with a stomach for truth
are bound to go hungry.

Author's Note: Topic from Joe Chiles. Took me awhile to work this out, get it as I wanted. And, of course, it is yet another get-out-of-bed-to-write-it-down poems. Joe is good at giving topics that make me do that, darn him.
