Winter Rain

Supposed to be one of the coldest
Times of this Minnesotan year
But today I looked out and saw
Snow melting puddles forming
And rain falling from the sky.
Your plane left yesterday
But I think the sky just found out
Because when I looked outside
I caught the sky crying for you
Trying to cover it up with clouds.
You've only been gone for a day
But I miss you already and
I think someone told the sky
Because when I felt like crying
The sky was right there with me
Crying through its winter rain. 02/19/2004 Author's Note: not quite what i wanted. but. i miss him. rar.
