You're Too Shallow by John HarderYou saw me on the T.V.
and said I was looking good
Did you really see me?
I don't know how you could
You see, it was not me
Thank you anyway
But then who did you see?
I ask you to stay away
I don't like you even
but yet you still persist
Your hair is too uneven
and you always clench your fist
Your eyes are not the same
Your teeth are off-white
Are you not to blame?
Do you brush every night?
You say it's shallow of me
to point all these thing out
but if you don't soon leave
I would have to shout

Author's Note: I felt like posting something that rhymes. To me, poetry that rhymes can often feel artificial. I think I've proven that in this one.
