Into Your Arms

by Amy Niggel

You wanted a son
so you took mine.
You couldn't have made a better choice really.
He was sweet
and had a smile that lit up the world.
His laugh always lifted my heart,
I hope it lifts Yours now.
He was my pride and joy,
my little angel,
I guess you needed one more to fill your chior.
I always loved holding him,
so soft,
so tiny.
He always fit perfectly in my arms.
But now I have to let him go.
So I send him Lord,
Into Your Arms.
Take care of him for me,
and make sure he knows his mommy loves him,
and that I'll see him
when I too surrender myself
Into Your Arms.
