Sleep On Sunrise

by J. P. Davies

V1: Could someone please explain?
Why I can't fall asleep tonight
Lay here entwined in my brain
Waiting 'til the morning light

I can't understand this
It all feels so disconnected
A riddle or two unsolved
Slumber is roundly rejected

C: Trying to figure out what's wrong
I'm not sure, my mind is unquiet.
Wish I could absorb the meaning
Of this neurological riot.
So I'll lie here in bed,
With books I have read,
Say this is normal,
I don't buy it.

V2: Could you help me find the answer?
Why am I here and alive?
Its 3 AM, I'm lost again,
You take the wheel, I can't drive.

If I toss and turn tonight
Don’t fret, it's merely the situation.
Of a mind, tipped upside, a time to devise
Just my usual complication.

This is awesome. It seems to flow alot better than many of your others. Good job.
