rushing
  ranting
    reeling

  as the realization rises
  that for all the plans
  and passive ways of pretending
  that it will be alright
  i've already fallen through the cracks
  to splinter into thousands
  of reverberating reprimands
  and offhand gestures

the hands of time continually...
   continue

and i'm still waiting for the alarm to sound
