paper doll by Melinda Sordinocrazy flows through my veins
and razor blades serve no help
as i slice and cut
to let it out.
but all that flows
is the red and
the bright color is
a contrast to my pale skin.
remember when this
little girl cut her dolls
from the paper and
i have become one
cutting myself,
trying to make myself
look like all the other dolls.
but after all the cutting,
eventually,
there is no doll left. 01/28/2004 Posted on 01/29/2004 Copyright © 2024 Melinda Sordino
